Hello,

We’re Tom and Steph, and we’re really glad you’re here.

The Honey Pot Inn is proudly family-owned and lovingly brought to life by a duo with very different paths, shared values, and one big dream.

Tom is the organiser, the builder, and the quietly adventurous one. He comes from a background in business administration and has a habit of turning ideas into something solid and sustainable. When he’s not working on the business, he’s usually outdoors: fishing or riding his motorbike. Tom has a deep passion for environmental conservation and believes businesses should give back to both their community and the land they sit on.

Steph started working in restaurants at the age of 14 and, despite weaving in and out of other careers including community engagement, marketing, business operations. She always found herself coming back to hospitality - it’s where she feels most at home. Steph brings heart, creativity, and people-first thinking to everything she does. She’s a musician and singer, with a deep love for live music and the way it harmoniously brings people together.

Together, Tom and Steph have blended their contrasting skills, personalities, and passions into one shared vision: The Honey Pot Inn - it isn’t just a pub to us. It’s a place to gather, to unwind, to talk, to laugh, to listen to music, and to feel part of something. A space where food, drink, music, and events create connection. Where social, emotional, and mental wellbeing are quietly supported through simple human moments.

We’re creating a local hub that feels warm, welcoming, and unpretentious. A place for the community, visitors, families, friends, and anyone who needs a good meal, a good song, or just a place to belong for a while.

Red Room

A room full of stories, character and conversation.

The Red Room is one of the most distinctive spaces at The Honeypot Inn – a warm, characterful room designed for gathering, conversation, entertainment and making memories.

Inspired by the charm of traditional taverns, The Red Room offers a cosy retreat away from the main restaurant and bar, with softer lighting, comfortable seating and plenty of personality. It's a space where guests can relax, enjoy good company and discover the stories behind the items that make the room unique.

The walls are filled with pieces of local and personal history, from Tom's collection of fishing memorabilia from his salmon fishing days to a selection of vintage vinyl records passed down from his Grandad. These talking points, alongside our music setup and carefully chosen décor, help create an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and authentic.

The Red Room is a versatile space used for live music, entertainment, sports viewing, darts, family gatherings, celebrations and private hire. Whether you're joining us for a special occasion, meeting friends for a drink, or looking for a unique venue for a larger group, The Red Room offers a setting that feels relaxed, informal and full of character.

The Hall

Big occasions, open spaces, unforgettable views.

Our Hall is the largest space at The Honeypot Inn, offering a bright, open and versatile setting for everything from family celebrations and community gatherings to private events, live entertainment and larger functions.

With its high ceilings and spacious layout, the Hall provides plenty of room for guests to come together while still feeling connected to the beautiful surroundings that make The Honeypot so special.

Large bi-fold doors open out towards the rolling hills beyond, creating a wonderful connection between indoors and outdoors. Depending on the day, you might spot trains winding their way through the countryside, watch local farmers working the surrounding fields, or even catch a glimpse of the sea on the horizon if you look closely enough.

It's these ever-changing views and little moments that give the Hall its unique character. The landscape becomes part of the experience, providing a backdrop that reflects the rhythm of rural life around us.

Whether you're planning a wedding reception, birthday celebration, corporate event, community gathering, live sports screening or private function, the Hall offers a flexible space that can be adapted to suit your needs.
